King David's Word Tabernacle In Psalm 119

When God created this world of inhabitants to populate the Earth, He intended that man be prolific and grow, both naturally and spiritually.

God commanded Adam-male and Adam-female to eat of the Tree of Life so that they would grow. God commanded Noah to build an Ark to preserve the seeds of life that would grow on the Earth. Then, later on, God promised Abraham that his descendants would grow into a great nation.

God’s Purpose and Plan is that everything should grow, both naturally and spiritually. He gave Moses a Plan for building a Tabernacle in the wilderness. That Plan is a pattern for believers’ spiritual growth, as is Psalm 119.

In Psalm 119, King David drew, in words, a picture of growing to spiritual maturity in the Stature of the LORD Jesus Christ. For this reason, it is a valuable study for Christians who want to study in order to gain greater heights, depths, lengths, and breadths of spiritual growth in God’s Word and Spirit.
