Discovery Of The Good In All Things, The

Christians can measure their maturity in God by their behavior in the midst of suffering. When we can praise and lift up the LORD’s Name in the midst of our suffering, we have indeed learned the purpose of it. God sends trials and afflictions to His people so that they can have the happy privilege of lifting up the LORD’s Holy Name in the midst of pain. Suffering reveals what we have attained or what we have not attained spiritually. Learning what we still need to attain is the revelation of God’s true purpose in the painful situations that He has sent our way is the “good” that we find in “all things.” This book tells us how to “discover” the “good” in all things, which Romans 8:28 promises to all those who love God.
